Emergono ulteriori dettagli sull' con la maglia dell'Uruguay. Il ct della nazionale Diego Alonso dopo la partita con Panama ha commentato così lo stop del giocatore: "Le sensazioni su questo problema sono buone. Sono stati già fatti degli esami e non dovrebbe essere nulla di grave. Aspettiamo ancora il report medico ufficiale, ma siamo abbastanza tranquilli", le parole del ct in conferenza stampa riportate da tuttonapoli.net.
Mathias Olivera ha dunque subito soltanto una distorsione all'interno del ginocchio. Entro 20 giorni dovrebbe riprendere”. Un sospiro di sollievo dunque dopo lo spavento delle scorse ore: il giocatore è dunque atteso regolarmente in ritiro a Dimaro dal Napoli.
