Emergono ulteriori dettagli sull' con la maglia dell'Uruguay. Il ct della nazionale Diego Alonso dopo la partita con Panama ha commentato così lo stop del giocatore: "Le sensazioni su questo problema sono buone. Sono stati già fatti degli esami e non dovrebbe essere nulla di grave. Mathias Olivera ha dunque subito soltanto una distorsione all'interno del ginocchio.
